Brazil's iOS Fitness & Weight Loss Apps Q1 2024 Performance

In the first quarter of 2024, Brazil's iOS platform saw significant activity in the fitness and weight loss application category. Data from Sensor Tower provides an overview of how the top applications performed during this period.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at approximately $49K in the third week of March and a low of around $31K towards the end of January. Downloads saw a downtrend from an initial 37K to about 27K by the end of the quarter, while weekly active users dipped from 245K to 208K.

The Smart Fit App showed a consistent pattern with no revenue reported. Downloads started at 25K and saw a decrease to around 11K, while active users fluctuated, starting at 111K and reaching a peak of 127K before closing the quarter at about 119K.

For Fitness App: Gym Workout Plan, revenues rose from a modest $3.3K to peak at $5.5K before falling to approximately $4.3K. The app's downloads began at nearly 15K, spiked to 20K mid-quarter, and ended at around 11.5K. Active users showed growth from 18K to a peak of 26K, followed by a decrease to roughly 21K.

Calorie Counter by FatSecret saw its revenue fluctuate, with a high of $3K mid-quarter and ending at $2.6K. Downloads began at 15K, dropped to 9.8K in early February, and concluded the quarter at 8.1K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 44K, peaking at 49K, and ending at 46K.

Lastly, YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet reported revenues starting at $21K, descending to a low of $7.8K. Downloads followed a similar trend, from 23K to a mere 725 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users exhibited stability, with numbers hovering around the 110K mark throughout the period.
